Howard Brown is committed to keeping our community informed, educated, and healthy. We perform a wide range of LGBT-affirmative services, including:
- training seminars ranging from HIV/STD prevention updates, to discussions of health issues specific to women, men, and transgender individuals;
- HIV/STD prevention education, counseling, and testing, both in the field and on-site at Howard Brown Health Center, Broadway Youth Center, and at TRIAD.
- services focused on the specific health needs of transgender individuals, women, and men;
- and, technical assistance and capacity development for organizations providing HIV-related services.
We’re committed to empowering the LGBT community throughout the entire Chicagoland area, with services on the north, west, and south sides, as well as in suburban Cook County.
