Peer Support

Treatment Advocacy
Treatment Advocacy is part of our Linkage into Care program (See Starting HIV Care). Treatment Advocates provide HIV positive individuals the opportunity to discuss concerns related to living with HIV with a skilled professional who is also HIV-positive. Education and counseling are provided for topics such as basic HIV facts, medication adherence and coping with treatment, HIV disclosure, sexual safety and available resources. The service is free of charge to anyone living with HIV.

To learn more about the program, or to schedule an appointment, contact Anthony Verdino at 773-388-8862.
